Safety Precautions
Heat bags by their nature are a potential fire hazard.
But by using common sense and by following the instructions that came with your bag, your bag will last for years.
Fire has a greater chance when the grain involved is very dry and the bag is overheated.
By adding a microwave “safe” container of water to the oven, the humidity within the microwave oven and the actual grain will be safer to heat.
If you are careless and heat a bag for 20 minutes instead of 2, our bags could get too hot – the same could happen to your dinner. If you doubt you ability to key in the correct heating time, do not use a microwave – for anything.
If there is any chance of somebody using the bag inappropriately, Mazbarn Enterprises would rather lose the sale. (Note: we are not responsible for incorrect use of the bag.)
